Interior Design & Decor

The Department of Interior Design & Decor was startedwith an aim of providing conducive ambience for learning Interior Designing and career oriented subjects to inculcate knowledge to the students in the field of Interior Designing and Architecture with the following Objectives: 

 Make students technically talented in design field

  Develop creative and skill oriented in the field of Architecture

  Initiate concepts on technological based learning to create successful entrepreneur

  Inculcate and implement value based teaching learning program

Year of Establishment – 2015

Eligibility for Admission: Candidates for admission to the first year of Interior Design & Decor course shall be required to have passed Higher Secondary examinations conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu, or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate of the University of Madras. Aggregate marks obtained in Science/Biology/Physics/Chemistry/ Accountancy/Computer science/vocational group will be considered for admission.

Course of Study: The main subject of study for Bachelor Degree shall consist of the following: Part 1: Foundation course exclusive for language. Part 2: English Part 3: Core courses / Allied subjects I and II – Job and skill oriented entrepreneurship components. Part 4 : Non-major Elective and Skill based subjects. Part 5 : Extension Activities / Sports/NCC SUBJECTS OFFERED: 2017 & 2018 Batch Onwards
