Citizen Consumer Club (CCC) embarked on the journey for consumer education on 18.8.2008 as per the initiative taken by the Government of Tamil Nadu to create awareness among consumers.

Vision

To create awareness on consumer rights and organize events that truly reflect the motto “Aware, Alert, Act” to build an enlightened citizen has the foundation of future India.

Mission

• Consumer grievances and redressal cell at cross district level.
• Guest lectures will be arranged on “World Standards Day and Food Day”.
• To carry out National Seminars on Consumer Awareness.
• To accomplish an awareness program on food safety.
• To conduct “Human Chain” and “Akshabhayasam” to observe world literacy day.
• To organize “Consumer Fest” to observe World Consumer Day.
• To spread awareness on consumer rights among the all consumer segments to the students.
• To emerge as a best consumer club and state level adjudged by the Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection through the State Government.

Objectives

The main objective of the club is to create consumer awareness among the students, aged people etc., The main objective of the club is “AWARE, ALERT, ACT ”.
