The health club of the D.G. Vaishnav College views students and each member of the college as a dynamic individual. The club encourages personal responsibility for achieving and maintaining wellness and also provides information to maintain and enhance well-being of each student and staff.

To transform the environment in which we live and work into a healthy community that support the well-being of its members and optimize wellness for now and future.

Mission

• To organize seminars, workshops, camps and activities necessary to provide guidance related to health issues.
• Enhance the knowledge and understanding about health in our students and people in the neighborhood, and guide them to adopt healthy habit.
• Promote hygienic lifestyle among students.
• To promote healthy practices for the well being of students and others during the epidemic and pandemic situation

Objectives

• To create awareness about various health issues among the students and faculty.
• To encourage healthy life style among the students and faculty.
• To organize health-related workshops, health camps and campaign in the college and outside in collaboration with different NGOs, Rotaract, Rotary clubs and Hospitals.
• To educate students about issues concerning the environment.
