Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College established the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) as per the norms and directions of Innovation Cell, Ministry of HRD, Government of India on 2nd December, 2021.The main objective of establishing the Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) is to encourage and inspire students to innovative activities in their formative years of graduation.

The first council meeting of Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College was organised by the president Dr. S. Santhosh Baboo, Principal, to discuss upon the formulation and function of IIC & the various roles and responsibilities of the council members as per the guidelines of MHRD’s Innovation cell.

To create a energetic innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem to cultivate ethnic and sustainable solutions for addressing the communal necessities.

Mission

To form a strong innovation ecosystem encircling young innovative minds of students and the research experience of faculty members to develop sustainable solutions for addressing the issues faced by industry and society.

• Organizing Entrepreneurship and innovation conclave to pave the way for the nurturing entrepreneurs to enhance their innovative thinking.
• Organizing Panel Discussion with budding and successful entrepreneurs.
• Organizing a Skill-a-thon to appraise the skill and creativity of the students and reward the same.
